When Aamir Khan Said 'Sorry' To Kamal Haasan

Aamir Khan, who is known for his stand against banning of films, recently apologized to veteran actor Kamal Haasan while at the FICCI Frames event  for not supporting him when his film Vishwaroop was banned in 2013.
At the FICCI Frames event, Aamir said, ''I am totally against banning of any creative work. Liking or not liking something is the prerogative of the audience, but once a film has been certified, it is sad when some outfits take law into their own hands and call for bans. This happened with Mr. Kamal Haasan sometime back and I am ashamed to say that we were not there to support you at the time. I was so lost in work that I could not be there either and I read about it later and felt bad about it. I publicly apologize to you for this as I feel that at such times, filmmakers must come together to support each other.''
Vishwaroop had faced issues due to allegations that it had showed Muslims in a negative light.
